The East Longmeadow Baseball Association Executive Board works with its division heads, coaching staff and other local organizations to help the kids get the most out of their experiences as they develop through its programs. Meet the people who make the East Longmeadow Baseball Association team so amazing.
Joe Williams
President
Elected in 2020, Joe has been a resident of East Longmeadow since 2016 and involved in the baseball program since, first serving as Coordinator of Tee Ball and taking over as President in the absence of long-time President Bill Birks. Joe and the rest of the organization are working year-round to ensure the best experience for the kids in Town.
Mike Carlin
Vice President
Mike has been active in the EL Baseball Association for many years and was recently elected as our Vice President. Not only has Mike been a valued coach, he's instrumental in managing all equipment and has been the backbone of the organization from a logistical standpoint. Mike is a huge asset to baseball in East Longmeadow.
Joe Picknally
Secretary
Joe was also elected in 2020 and has been an integral part of EL baseball for the past four years. Joe is always willing to put the good of the organization above himself. The previous Secretary, Rich Bedard, was a highly valued member of ELBA for countless years. Rich, along with past-president Bill Birks, were the backbone of the Organization and have been instrumental in its success and growth. Since Joe's election in 2020, and Tee Ball Coordinator prior, Joe has been a huge asset to the organization.
Taylor Foy
Treasurer
Taylor was recently elected in 2023 as Treasurer. Taylor has been a highly valued coach for various teams over the past several years which made his transition to the Board simple. We're lucky to have Taylor!
Rich Bedard
Past Treasurer
Rich has been a crucial part in the development of East Longmeadow baseball for decades. Without Rich, baseball would not be what it is today. Rich remains involved with the organization and will help out whenever and wherever needed but has recently stepped down from his active role as treasurer/secretary. Rich's knowledge and love for the game and is deeply valued. The Organization and Town have been lucky to have him all these years.
